About Derek:

 Hello I'm Derek from the Big D Jukebox Of Hits I've loved music since the age of 3 to today introduced to music by my mam and dad who were singers especially my dad . I took up the mantle of singing and have been doing Dj since I was 14 ,  a long time.

I've 4 children and in the last 2yrs I've become a granddad to 4 lovely children.  Oh how my life has changed.

I was introduced to St.Itas Hospital radio by my good friend fellow Dj Mick O Brien my name sake and it was something I always wanted to do and now I've got the chance to do so. Thanks to Tom the Station Manager for having the faith in me and to all the other Djs at the station thank you.
